AUSTIN ICE BATS - The Austin Ice Bats are a Southern Conference champion hockey team. The team was established in 1996 and played home games in the Luedecke Arena at the Travis County Exposition Center, a multi-purpose building which was furnished with skating ice and was named the "Bat Cave" for hockey games.
The Teams Head Coach is a former NHL player, Brent Hughes.

AUSTIN TOROS - The Austin Toros is one of the National Basketball Development League's newest franchises. The Toros began play during the 2005-2006 season. Their official colors are red, blue, and gold. The Toros name is currently the only NBA-associated team and first D-League team to possess a nickname of Spanish origin.

AUSTIN WRANGLERS - The Austin Wranglers is one of the Arena Football League's newest teams. They began playing in February of 2004 and played their home games at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus.

ROUND ROCK EXPRESS BASEBALL CLUB - The Round Rock Express Baseball Club is a minor league baseball franchise based in Round Rock, Texas. In 2007, the Express played in the Pacific Coast League as the Class AAA affiliate of the Houston Astros. The home stadium is the Dell Diamond and from 1999 to 2004, the Express was a Class AA team in the Texas League, also affiliated with the Astros. The Express ownership group was led by the Hall of Fame pitcher, Nolan Ryan.

The sports include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, track and field, volleyball, swimming and others. The teams are referred to as the Texas Longhorns because of the Longhorn cattle that were an important part of the development of Texas, and are now the official "large animal" of Texas
